YEMEN URISING. YEMEN.
Since the January 27, 2011, thousands of yemenis manifested themselves peacefully to overthrow its President, Alí Abdula Saleh, in power for 32 years.
After months of protests, Saleh finally resigned from the presidency and formally transferred power to his successor after a presidential election held on 21 February 2012, marking the end of his 33-year rule.
The photographs are taken in “the square of the change” during the month of March, 2011.
